Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Curran's artistic sensibilities were shaped by her French-Moroccan mother, a designer of exquisite evening wear. Surrounded by luxurious fabrics, intricate embellishments, and the artistry of haute couture, she developed an enduring fascination with color, texture, and the emotional resonance of beauty. Her travels throughout Europe further cultivated her admiration for the Dutch, Italian, and French Old Masters, whose mastery of light, shadow, and composition continues to influence her artistic approach.

With an academic background in psychology, art history, and fine arts, Curran built an award-winning career in advertising as an art director and creative director. Reflections of Becoming, the series represented by the gallery, explores the mesmerizing interplay of boats, water, light, and shifting reflections as metaphors for transformation, introspection, and the ever-evolving nature of life. In 2026, Curran received national recognition, placing second among more than 180,000 entrants in The People's Artist Competition, presented by Johnny Depp and hosted by The Art of Elysium. That same year, she was awarded first place in the two-dimensional painting category at the First Coast Cultural Center's Juried Artist Member Exhibition for her painting Santorini. Her painting Where My Heart Lives was also exhibited at the St. Augustine Art Association in July 2026 as part of When in the Course of Human Events, an exhibition commemorating the 250th anniversary of American independence.
